NAACP Image Awards

The Image Awards continue to be a place to honor underrated black actors, and although their nominations are sometimes not the best quality it is nice to see talented actors in excellent roles such as Phylicia Rashad, Anthony Mackie, Kerry Washington, and Anika Noni Rose, who have been absent during the Oscar season get some overdue recognition. The film nominees are listed below, and the other categories can be found at their website: http://www.naacpimageawards.net/42/nominees-and-honorees/
