Commentary
The Big C should play well with Emmy voters, so Cynthia Nixon and Gabourey Sidibe should get in. As should some of the Glee ladies, Chenoweth, Paltrow, and Burnett being the top choices. SNL could get in some ladies, Fey and Poehler being old favorites, and Hathaway and Mirren having big movie star status on their side. Moretz and Latifah also have the "big name" status on their side, meaning they could get in for 30 Rock. Amy Ryan could get in for The Office, as her recurring character has become a fan favorite. Hot in Cleveland really played its Emmy cards with so many top notch guest stars including Mary Tyler Moore, Susan Lucci, and Shirley Knight, and could get at least one spot in this category (and Guest Actor). Then there are the legends, Betty White and Cloris Leachman, who are always great, and their names alone will bring in a ton of votes. Finally, don't forget last year's nominee Jennifer Aniston, who is well liked by the Academy, and is hilarious on the underrated Cougar Town.
