Commentary - I have been letting this category sort itself out, and these predictions are far off probably. There are, as usual, a plethora of animated films with potential songs, but none of them are really standing out, and in their place, The Muppets could get in a couple of songs, especially with its good reviews (see previous post). I also think that the well-received remake of Footloose has a couple of options, the Zac Brown one being its best bet. Mary J. Blige's song The Living Proof is wonderful, and this is a place to give The Help another nomination on its march to a Best Picture one. Finally, I am going with Alan Menken, because it is not a good idea to bet against him, and his song Star Spangled Man could be a winner for Captain America.
