Best of the Academy Awards Winners: Best Original Song and Score

Best Original Score
Winner - John Williams "Star Wars"
Runner Up - Lawrence of Arabia and Sunset Blvd.
Commentary - Iconic doesn't even begin to describe John William's greatest masterpiece. By that of course I am referring to his score for Star Wars. It still excites people when if first blazes onto the screen in the opening credits, and is quite possibly the greatest film score of all time.

Best Original Song
Winner - Over the Rainbow from The Wizard of Oz
Runner Up - Beauty and the Beast and Moon River from Breakfast at Tiffany's
Commentary - Another iconic piece of music, that, while it may seem like a too obvious choice, is also definitely the greatest song every written directory for a film.
