Other Contenders - American Idol, Survivor, RuPaul's Drag Race, America's Got Talent, Chopped, The X-Factor, The Glee Project, Iron Chef America, Chopped, Hell's Kitchen, Celebrity Apprentice, Big Brother, The Biggest Loser.
Commentary - It seems that two of America's longest running reality shows have officially moved on in the minds of Emmy voters, although do not discount either Survivor or American Idol. Beyond that I kind of get the feeling that all six contenders will return from last year. The Amazing Race easily comes in as the frontrunner, but Top Chef beat it once, so maybe something could beat in again? The two dancing shows are both popular and will probably get in again, I just don't know if either are strong enough to win. Project Runway continues to be an Emmy favorite, but only in nominations. The last slot I think will go to television's buzziest show The Voice. And since it has become such a popular and highly discussed show I think that it could be the dark horse to finally take down the juggernaut.
