American Cinema Editors (ACE) Eddie Award Nominations

The editing award is an important one, and so the inclusions of Saving Mr. Banks, August: Osage County, and Her are great boosts for those film. The exclusion of Dallas Buyers Club, after such a run through the precursors, is a bit of a sting, but not surprising. The top contenders including AH, 12 Years, Captain Phillips, Nebraska, and Gravity are all in there solidifying their lead in the race. As is Wolf of Wall Street, which is also solidifying itself in this race. Also, after missing the cut so many times, Inside Llewyn Davis has gotten the ASC nod, the Eddie nod, and some BAFTA nods (although not in the top race), proving that it is not dead yet.
