Commentary - When Jennifer Lawrence was left off the list here, there was a lot of outrage, and rightfully so. Her film is the biggest of the bunch, and will probably will win the top prize, yet they couldn't make room for even one female? Alas, we are down to five male nominees. Downey has missed out here before, but is always a threat. Freeman won here last year, so he should no be discounted. And Channing Tatum is incredibly popular. But I think that Chris Hemsworth is the right age, the right height of popularity, and in a very popular film. I think that he will take home the prize.
