Oscar season is still a few weeks away from ending, and we can already start talking about the upcoming Emmy season. First, let me say, that I am so happy to see it move back to Sunday night, and back to September. With the exception of the Sherlock love (it turns out the industry as a whole was not a big fan of The Normal Heart, so it is all starting to make sense), there were very few surprises. When you squish the voting too much, you end up producing the same winners over and over (hint hint Oscars, give voters more time!).
