24th Annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards

Big miss for Shape of Water, Call Me By Your Name, The Florida Project, Dunkirk, and The Post, and a big boost for Lady Bird, Get Out, and Three Billboards, one of whom will most likely be your Best Picture winner at the Oscars. No Meryl Streep or Tom Hanks, no Armie Hammer or Michael Stulbarg, No Daniel Day-Lewis, Octavia Spencer, or Jake Gyllenhaal. Big surprise inclusions for Judi Dench, Denzel Washington (which after the Globe should not have surprised, so that's on me), Steve Carell, and a well-deserved notice for Woody Harrelson alongside his co-star Rockwell, who was expected. Also, this is probably small, but LilRey Howrey and Betty Gabriel, the two best supporting roles in the film, were left off the cast list.
